Sep 22, 2008 - I lived in that town for nearly twenty years, and aside from high unemployment and high prices, I've never seen a Lemurian, a UFO, an Elf, a Leprechaun, or even a Hobbit. I've seen lenticular clouds over Mount Shasta, and most of the other cascades, but they only contained water vapor. The only thing unusual there are the hordes of Marin County hippies and Rainbow wannabes that come up every summer to smoke pot, drop acid, and trash the forest. The mountain is a pile of rock. Nothing more.
