Aug 9, 2008 - You are so right. Many lives were shattered beyond repair- the airline industry did change the way bad weather was handled after that--but some experienced miracles that day. All three of my young children and the firechiefs son were saved by seconds when I called them in. They were riding bikes up and down the diveway where the plane crashed. God was merciful to me and mine but I'll never understand why so many died and others lived.
