Turnout was relatively light for this weekend's Primary Election. While the candidates were out in full force in a last minute effort to garner votes, the turnout dropped to the lowest point in years. Here is an over-view of the primary results. The Guam Election Commission also reports that 12.4 % of the ballots were spoiled because of cross-over voting and other issues. GEC adds that the 12.4 % figure is considered normal. Meanwhile, write-in candidates are still being counted. There are a total of 4030 write-in votes. Those results should be known by this Thursday.
