This mic has no label, but it is very similar to a Calrad 400C, so that is what I will call it. These are a variation of the Argonne/Shield/Primo/Calrad M-131 Big Walter mics. None of them that I have used have been particularly loud, but this one has extra low output. The tone is still nice, but my Bassman is turned WAY up. I give you full disclosure here, people. Not trying to hide that fact that this mic has a weak element. I would not do that. You can use this shell with a replacement element, or do whatever you like with it. I have sold TWO of these to people who wanted to make tail lights for their Harleys. Go figure! (Ironically, I also have two mics made from tail lights!) Here it is through a Fender Bassman, hooked together with a Fender Pro Junior. Ebay Seller ID: Deluxe8765 Auction begins mid-September 2008.
