Aug 29, 2008 - Thank you. Ya, black and white would have been a good idea. Well, it was really you who got me thinking about the locational side of these videos. That is why there are the front and back porch videos. Hey, just wait until they see your documentary. Now that the summer craziness is ending, and it will be cooler soon, we can make plans to finish our last shoot. Talk to you soon.

Aug 29, 2008 - Hi KeniLee,do you think if i wear my guitar to bed this will improve my bluez.;]cool vid.
KeniLeeBurgess Says:
Aug 29, 2008 - Yes, playing and practicing in bed will improve your Blues, but it will not help your sex life. lol. Remember, the guitar body is made in the shape of a woman. So, when you are holding your guitar you are actually holding another woman. Maybe, because playing can get so emotional, it is like a form of making love. lol.
KeniLeeBurgess Says:
Aug 29, 2008 - This is the simple fact why many woman get upset at their man over playing guitar. Are you cheating on me again! lol. We can talk about the symbolism of moving your hand up and down the neck another time. lol. Thank you for your comment, and proceed with caution. lol.

Aug 29, 2008 - Hello Keni. Speaking of the shape of a women...did you get your parlor reso from Frank? He told me you were interested. I got mine this week and LOVE it! Great sound and perfect for travel. Fits in overhead and I can leave my National at home. I am shocked how full it sounds for such a reasonable price. Take care and thanks for the inspiration to dust of my slide!

Aug 29, 2008 - Yes, I just arrived home after a ten day trip to Canada, opened the box, and spent most of the day playing it. I agree with you, it has amazing full tone and volume, even though the body is small. I will be posting some videos with it soon. I think this is going to be great for performing on the street. It is so portable. I must say, I LOVE it too. Enjoy!!!

Aug 29, 2008 - For the price, you can't go wrong. I replaced the first string with a .016 and have it tuned to Open D. I think once my friends on Youtube see it in action, they are going to want one too. Thanks for sharing.

Aug 29, 2008 - Thank you. Yes, I agree with you, this would make an interesting tutorial, due to the ideas I strung together to get the final arrangement. I have a lot of irons in the fire currently, but I will honor your request by placing it on the list. Thank you for all your kind words and endless support.

Aug 30, 2008 - Oh, I pretty much figured that you had a lot on your plate right now, but I just really dug the song. If I might ask, whereabouts in Canada did you head to? If you're ever headed into Ottawa, lemme know. For all the quality lessons you've given, the least I can do is buy you a drink. (whatever your choice of poison might be)
KeniLeeBurgess Says:
Aug 30, 2008 - Thank you. I was in Montreal, Pierrefonds. Thank you for the drink invitation. I like to drink Beefeaters Gin on the rocks. Enjoy.

Sep 3, 2008 - Thank you. I know this video is dark, but this is my 1935 Duolian. The new Republic Resolian is in the Needin Time video. I know you are going to enjoy it. I'm amazed at the volume and tone out of such a small bodied guitar. Enjoy.
