Sebastian Vettel visited the DTM at Oschersleben this year, to do a little demo in his Scuderia Toro Rosso. There are more videos availiable at DTM.com [ TRANSLATION ] SV: Im just doing a few laps with my car here of the track to show the spectators a few things. Whats so special about the DTM? SV: I think its the fact that the fans can get so close to the track and so close to the drivers. Im just a visitor here myself, but the guys who matter, the DTM drivers, well you can get really close to them. And also, whats really special about the DTM is that its one enormous show, the whole time. You can really experience things here. How does he cope with his popularity? SV: I dont know, I guess I just dont think about it actually. Of course its great that so many people are interested in what Im doing, and that certainly makes me a bit proud, no doubt about it. Who is he rooting for at Oschersleben? SV: Well I do know a lot of the drivers and Ive driven against several of them myself too, like Paul di Resta. Okay, today I want Mattias Ekstrom to win, Ive known him for quite some time now; hes a good friend, and last year we had a lot of fun at the Race of Champions in England for instance. Today hes starting quite far back, so maybe hell need a bit more luck than the others. Can he imagine driving in the DTM himself? SV: Well, actually, it wouldnt be bad. Right now Im just 20 years old, and I havent been with Formula One for long. I want to stay there a bit longer and then, who knows? Lets wait and see.
