Nov 6, 2008 - You know what? I am TOTALLY for Prop 8 but you guys are making me sick. If you believe, as I do, that God does not support homosexuality, you should also know that God told us to love everyone. You're just proving all those "NO on 8" people right when you swear at them or act like jerks. Prop 8 is about protecting everyone, not being hateful and discriminatory to gays. Be better than that. You can still love gays and be friendly to them and not condone what they're doing. Be Christlike.

Nov 7, 2008 - I'm glad that Californian kids are once again safe...whew... Parents should be very careful about what outsiders teach them about something as basic as sexuality. Family is the most important unit of society and let's not let anything change that! YES on 8 and protect your freedoms of religion and speech! YAY!!!
crabbygail Says:
Nov 7, 2008 - @Berlitz77: "Goes to show what we think about "your" kind." That sort of confrontational, intolerant attitude is unhelpful. It doesn't help advance the civic dialogue to a point where both sides of this debate can understand the other and arrive at a solution that unites us and promotes tolerance one to another. (Nor display Judeo/Christian values). And certainly doesn't represent MY sentiments as one who voted Yes.
crabbygail Says:
Nov 7, 2008 - cont'd: The way I see it, both sides had valid concerns about what the different outcomes of the election would mean. And both sides tried to discount the other's valid concerns immediate concerns *ahem, schools*. Both sides also stated concerns about the potential outcomes that extrapolated further than the immediate consequences to what might occur if similar outcomes kept occuring. Basically, fearing the worst.
crabbygail Says:
Nov 7, 2008 - cont'd: There likely are those on the Yes side whose agenda is to roll back gay rights. There probably are those on the No side whose agenda is to oblige societal acceptance of the gay lifestile through early indoctrination and lawsuits against churches. I believe that those groups are extreme elements, and respective minorities. I believe that the vast majority of those who voted Yes and No could arrive at a consensus around a policy that addresses concerns if we could have a civil dialogue.

I have a question for you please answer this. Why does god hate homosexuality if he himself MADE IT. hmm? If you can give me a GOOD RATIONAL answer I'll never fight with christain idiots on youtube.

Nov 29, 2008 - Currently there are nine European countries alone that give marital rights to gay couples. In Scandinavia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Iceland. Since 2001, the Netherlands and Belgium have opened marriage to same-sex couples. Despite what religious Americans lol might say, the apocalypse has not yet arrived. In fact, in most these countries where the marriage was declining, they have risen among heterosexuals since legalizing homosexual marriage. There marriage success boosts the economy too!
RodTalon0000 Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - Gay marriage is coming, and this country will be a better place because of it, future scholars will look back on this a silly...
