To get man into basing his eternal life on sex, murder, stealing and lying. 41. These variety of different sins are known as law. WHAT IS LAW? 42. TRYING TO BE LIKE GOD. GETTING BACK TO THE PARABLES OF JESUS 43. Jesus is challenging Israel to perform a law that can never be performed. 44. Build your house on the rock? obey the law 45. Enter through the narrow door? obey the law 46. Camel passing through the eye of a needle? law 47. Blessed are the merciful? Be perfect & obey the law so that you have the power to show perfect mercy "LIKE GOD DOES" 48. Hunger and thirst after righteousness? After law obedience 49. Blessed are the peacemakers? Obey the law and you will be able to teach it. 50. Let your light so shine before men? Law obedience is bright! 51. Put your light on a candlestick? Hold yourself up high so all men will gather around your light and learn from the master. MATHEW 5:19 - BUT WHO EVER SHALL DO AND TEACH THEM, THE SAME SHALL BE CALLED GREAT IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN? 52. The kingdom of law. WHY IS THERE GOING TO BE A NEW HEAVEN? 53. Because the Kingdom of Heavens law was made to show a man he "CAN NOT BE LIKE GOD" Let me know when your ready for more of Jesus parables. Then after that we can get into Pauls' letters... The law was made to crush a man under its severe heavy weight. Once a man realizes he CAN NOT perform it, then he is ready to look for a remedy. All men like to live for eternity and enter the kingdom of Heaven. But only a few will ever enter that narrow door. And a few are really NONE AT ALL.
