Nov 16, 2008 - thank you for this video. it's nice to know that there are people like you who really care. this is really a big issue. from what agency/office are you? by the way, claver is still part of surigao del norte. i'm a clavernon, but sad to say, i'm not aware of all these (sigh). but i do know, that mining companies are now sprouting like mushrooms in claver. i just don't know how many mining companies are operating there now. more power!

Nov 16, 2008 - Hello pamsam0541, i am a photo journ & correspondent of Mindanao goldstar daily and stringer photojourn of agence france presse under Romy Gacad, there are lots of docs i have that these mining companies stuped the natives, though there's error on my captions on this presentation i still sent the message. I am from Butuan City and will still go back to Claver if i have a chance to visit the Mamanwa community. Pls help them live & have life like a normal human w/c the NCIP disregarded.

Nov 16, 2008 - Aside from illegal mining operations in Claver, there are 3 big companies operating. The Taganito Mining Comp., PGMC and OSMC. I heard that some greed Govt officials and Agencies are backing this compnies & still stuping the Lumads with worthless promises until now.I also made a TV documentary of this issue to be shown on cable channel in Butuan soon and will upload it hear after. God Bless
