The year is 1992 They sing the songs. "I'll Fly Away" "Have a little talk with Jesus" "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder" This is some good pentecostal history The LOVE, ANOINTING, and PEACE of God can not be imitated, nor counterfeited!! That is how you know the Lord is truly in you presence. Philosophically this is how we know we have the truth, HE is in our midst and his Glory and Love ever before US.

Sep 10, 2008 - You are slightly erroneous in you little diatribe. Evidently you don't know who we oneness people are. I hardly doubt God stopped anointing music after 1945. I agree, that MOST music made these days is PURE entertainment, but who cares, it's not SINFUL? Preaching against "Mercy Me" is just an excuse of a WORD FROM THE LORD. I grew up with Carmen, Clint Brown, Mississippi Mass, the music on this video. that is my Elder pastor on the right standing up. I like WORSHIP music. I love this video.

Sep 10, 2008 - Why look!!?? Oneness pentecostals having church, and believe me The Holy Spirit(Jesus Christ) in in their midst, and they held true to the doctrine of One God, yet they remain?? strange? No.

Sep 10, 2008 - What is erroneous about the word or God. The scriptures are very clear about worship. I could not agree with you more about entertainment. However, I care! When I received the Holy Ghost in 1988 God convicted me of Carmen, and CCM. I Appreciate this clip you've posted. I'm 36 yrs old and I want my children to be raised in a Spiritual "Church" and not an entertainment "Center". Most worship is more like what took place in the groves and in Tophet of the O.T. rather than the book of Acts!

Sep 10, 2008 - He didn't convict me of it, as a matter of fact I need to listen to more Carmen, haven't listen to him in awhile, dude Carmen has some good stuff? I hear you on the entertainment center, I thank God I grew up in a real church.

Sep 11, 2008 - NO! I wasn't talking about your church, I was speaking in comparison with the mainstream liberal churches. I can tell you have standards.
chris7777777777777 Says:
Sep 11, 2008 - When are standards to high? when are they too low? Let me have it.
troy1387 Says:
Sep 11, 2008 - They are too high only when the take the place of the Blood of Jesus for the remission and forgiveness of sins. You certainly cannot work your way into heaven. They are certainly too low when you cannot discern the need to "come out from among them and be ye separate". The command to come out is to the Saved not the lost. As a Saint, I should abstain from the very appearance of evil and shun the "unfruitful works of darkness and reprove them" and be holy in "all manner of conversation".

Sep 11, 2008 - Thank You for clearing that up. I have dealt with the Oneness for years and even attended a UPC in Toledo, IL when I was a teenager. They were much different back then. Most UPCrs are very quick to claim they are the only true church and the only folks with the truth. Titus 1:1 states that "truth" is according to Godliness. If you are not godly you don't have or abide in truth. I don't care how you were baptised or how much you talk in tongues. It really is Holiness or Hell!

Sep 11, 2008 - I have not downed your clip here at all. In fact my sister-in-law attends the UPC church in Sulfur Rock, AR. She told my wife just a few weeks ago that she wished the UPC would go back to singing those old fashioned songs and hymns that use to bring the glory down. She couldn't remember when the last time they sang I'll fly Away. She said it's like Rock-n-Roll every service. There are people even in the UPC that are fed up with it. I know a UPC pastor in Illinois that feels like I do about this.

Sep 9, 2008 - Now this is the way we Independent Trinitarian Holiness Pentecostals have church in 2008. Too bad the Oneness have all but forgot how to sing and praise God in the old-time way. Go to thisdogbarks dott comm and read the article called "Is Christian Contemporary Music Really Christian?" It's an outstanding article that admonishes the church to get back to scriptural worship. It was written by a Pentecostal man who is concerned about the direction of the Modern Church in their worship.
