Sep 29, 2008 - Okay, first of all the most extraordinary event of the 20th century was NOT landing on the moon. It was in fact the invention of Death Metal, AKA the fountain of eternal youth. If this doesn't make much sense to you, it is because you are actually sporting a raging erection for stupid things, such as your boy/girl/trannyfriend. If this does make sense to you I recommend becoming my friend or commiting yourself fulltime to a mental hospital for the clinically insane. I'm running out of letters so

Oct 1, 2008 - My question is... how come we never went back to the moon? (I haven't finished watching the video yet)

kooldog98 Says:
Oct 18, 2008 - after the apollo program ended, there was no real interest in developing technology to put man on another planet. nasa instead focused their funding and research on the space station and mars exploration, and the space shuttle was created as a reusable craft to send cargo into low orbit and build the space station. the apollo program was far to expensive to sustain. there is no point going back to the moon until we learn how to stay there longer than 1 day.
kooldog98 Says:
Oct 18, 2008 - with the space station almost completed, nasa's next goal is to send man back to the moon and onward to mars and they are currently designing the rockets to get them there

Oct 27, 2008 - Actually, we did go back to the moon. There have been 6 Apollo Missions on the moon between 1969 and 1972. Do you not remember the missions after the first landing where we took the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV)? April 1, 1971 to be exact. We took the LRV on three moon landings after the first one.

Nov 5, 2008 - Also If the first steps were taken when Armstrong said his famous line, then how did we get the camera angle that showed him coming down the steps of the shuttle thingy

Nov 8, 2008 - Welch would be better off if he tried to give some answers to the questions posed. It is outrageous to hear this guy talk while ironically smiling. NASA could at least take the stand: 'Guys, (some of) the photos ARE fake, but we did go to the Moon. We faked the photos to satisfy the appetite of a Hollywood-oriented audience, seeking perfection.' They are not even able to do that. Give answers, folks! The tax payers have a right to know. No question is ridiculous, before it is proven to be.

Nov 19, 2008 - Try this question: Why SHOULD we have gone back? If there's no compelling reason, I think it makes perfect sense that we didn't return in 35 years.
