(I didn't keep up with it all) .........and the most recent windows update messed everyones computer up.......hhhmmm....that says it all. download Peerguardian2 and see how many govt agencies it blocks (that's in addition to your regular firewall - you'll be amazed)

Jul 26, 2008 - Yes yes! That is true here also. The latest Windows software having been giving alot of people (including myself) alot of problems. We intially dismissed it as a scam by microsoft to make us spend money by buying new software etc. But who knows?

Jul 26, 2008 - I could almost lay my life on some of these 'windows updates' containing rootkits and even possibly keyloggers (things that are generally not found by an antivirus) - nothing would suprise me. If you want to have a secure environment, forget windows, use Linux software - many are free! (and harder to infect with virus etc)

(also, you can 'dual boot' your system to allow both linux and windows to run) full instructions are on the net - just type a search phrase into google and 'VOILA' - happy computing!
